Introduction to SAP

What is SAP?

SAP Stands for System Application and Products in Data Processing.It was founded in 1972 in Walldorf, Germany.From many years it the only ERP tool used by many companies for client /server business solutions.SAP product is consider as excellent but not perfect,because no software is considered as perfect.

The main advantage of using SAP is we can use as ERP system because it has very high level integration among its individual applications which provides consistency of data throughout the system.SAP is cutomized software which allows business to make rapid changes in their business requirements with a set of programs.


What is SAP R/3?

SAP R/3 is a software,it is particularly for client-server software.This means group of layers make up R/3 software are made to run simultaneously across several computer system.The components/layers that are requesting services are called “clients”, the components/layers that are providing services are called “servers”.  Thus the term - “client/server” 

What is SAP ECC?


SAP is a ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) module,ECC is the version of SAP like 4.6, 4.6c and 4.7 in that series new version is ECC-6. Its known as Enterprise core compone
